What an absolute scintillating match and what a performance. Exactly what we needed. We dominated the match, created almost all of the chances – and stuffed Man U! We broke them down and they struggled against our class. Did my eyes deceive me? Was this really a match between the unbeaten top of the table and us?

Lehman played brilliantly and produced an absolutely amazing save; galvanizing why the boss puts his faith in him. Legend. Fabregas was deservedly man of the match and the look on Winky Ronaldo’s face when Fab stole the ball off of him to set up the goal was priceless. Adebayor gets the goal he needed to give him that confidence (I must admit I was just starting to think it wasn’t his night until he scored) but he shows he CAN keep a cool head to finish under pressure… and what pressure 76,000 odd attendance at Man U (a record Premiership attendance no less). Rosicky played well and Baptista came of the bench to give us hope and a glimpse of what he can do.

We come away with so many positives I can’t help but be positive for the future. Lets not get too carried away, we have only just got ourselves into the top half of the table. But at the same time lets enjoy it.
