Walcott made his second Arsenal start at West Brom on Tuesday night and turned in an impressive performance as we eased to a 2-0 Carling Cup triumph which puts us into the last 16 of the competition.
Both goals came from Jeremie Aliadiere who looks set to push for a place in our first team starting line up and as long as he keeps putting goals away, AW will have to keep his eye on him.
West Brom boss Mowbray said "It is not the individuals, it is the brand of football… We saw them annihilate Reading on Sunday and while none of those players played, it was very similar to watch” and I fully agree. Our passing and movement was just as quick and agile, we created space and didn’t slip up with any passes. The football played by our young guns such as Denilson was equally of the highest quality and it just makes me very optimistic.
The future is bright, the future is Arsenal.
