Our captain Thierry comes back from injury and makes the difference to beat 10-man Charlton.
Henry scored the opener from the penalty spot after Sankofa was sent off for fouling Robin van Persie. The penalty award looked fortunate, but hey, sometimes you get them, sometimes they go against you - all part of why we love this game. Then Justin Hoyte slotted our second past Scott Carson, from a great build up by Thierry. Hoyte made the most of his goal celebration, and after a goal like that, why not? (Nice c-walk at the end btw

). Van Persie scored another spot-kick after Souleymane Diawara fouled Henry and then chipped in a fine late fourth.
We attacked from the word go, and with Thierry back and fresh Arsene was always going to get his revenge against Pardew... no showing off in our faces this time eh Pardew? Prat. Respect mate, learn some and you might see your fortunes change. Not even good enough for West Ham - enough said.
Anyway, great to see Hoyte get his first Gunners goal, and what a first goal to get. A simply beautifully effort from a tight angle.
Our passing game was back on par, and as always when we play like this, we are unstoppable. Hleb played a great game down the inside right channel. Van Persie finally (and deservedly) got a goal from the spot with 14 minutes left after Henry was blatantly tugged to the ground in the box. The new Dutchmaster then made it 4-0 after lofting the ball over Carson and into the net. It is brilliant to see the partnership between Thierry and Van Persie really coming together - defenses beware!
