Targets till the end of season

It's only in march...and we only have the premiership to play for...not even the title by now, with manure so significantly dominant (***!!!) although we're 3rd, 2nd place seems so far away. I'm not sure wat arsene will target until the rest of the season with his players pretty much unable to finish. A striking partnership of Ade and Julio looks like to be used for sometime to come...while gilberto takes the penalties, I dont see to many goals from anyone else...It reminds me when Robert Pires used to be so dominant in front of goals...he should give us somtin had he stayed.

Season is practically over now. 2 games in hand over 5th place so we will probably get fourth, maybe thrid if liverpool slip up. A very very bad 2 weeks Sad theres always next year and we should still give the players and manager support until the final game

just today i saw in arsenal.com that henry will be out for 3 months. somtin we could do without. This season is much worse than I had expected really. But we're really 3rd now, not 4th

Re: Targets till the end of season

10 games left in the season. As Wenger has often said "at this stage, it is not mathamatically impossible to win the league". Of course it is very doubtful, but all we can do is go out to win our remaining matches. We should realistically be aiming for third.

There are some tasty games still to look forward to; away to Liverpool, home to West Ham (big revenge game) and home to Chelsea (could be the game that moves us to 2nd). So do not despair my fellow Gunners and continue to support our wonderful team till the end! Arsenal are a great team and by God, they'll show it next season.

    We've got Cesc Fabregas!

Re: Targets till the end of season

I think arsenal have been unlucky again this season with injuries  at the wrong time etc, i cant remember having our full team available for 3 games on the run and international breaks have spolied our rythem. I think that we should make sure everyones fully fit for the start of next season

The rest of the season wont be easy but theres no doubt we'll finish in the champions league places and its also a valuable lesson in scoring goals if you ask me ready for next season as thats what we have missed even when we created chances.

    arsenal vs aston villa

tonight will be an interesting match..playing after a long gap!! players must have freshened themselves up and would be raring to go... of course all matches ending up to the season are as important and no team can be taken lightly..aston villa have got a good buy in carew..the team's not as strong but will be fun watching gunners go out there and play classic football!!!

    predictions anyone!?!

    i say arsenal 3-1

I got it right Smile Didnt see the game but Diaby scored. After the last 2 weeks I didnt care about the score as long as we won, which we didBig Smile We are now third and still have a game in hand over Liverpool

    Decent result.

    Re: arsenal vs aston villa

i'd got my prediction awfully wrong! the score could have read 3-1 arsenal if not for the missed chances by alliadeaire...

but then most times this season when arsenal have played good classic football we've still ended up on the losing side..so it is good we go out there push our luck play ugly strong physical football and at the end of the day get 3 vital points..this is what chelsea are so good doing at!!

    happy with 1-0.. cheers!!

3rd place is there for the taking..imp game against everton next and then a sure cracker against liverpool (not sure they'll play a full strength keeping the UCL in mind!!! but still would want to take revenge for those FA and Carling cup losses!!)

    HAIL ARSENAL!!!!!!!!

i've saw Chelsea's Fixtures and they have got hard games so there is a possibility that we could finish second or maybe even 1st but we have got a diffucult april
