    Newcastle vs Arsenal

We should have won in the 84th minute. Gilberto should have scored.

Now with only two point in it to keep a Champions League spot... I am not happy Confused .

Were the days of Pires, Bergkamp and 49 games unbeaten really that long ago?

We love you Arsenal, we do...

The form were in a point away isnt too bad. Gilberto should have probably scored but they had about 3 on the line.

Saturday is home against Bolton and if we can win that then it should be enough for 4th spot. And still got a game in hand.

The 49 unbeaten days will come back eventually Stick out tongue I hope lol

Supermac says Wenger kids close to a title-winning side

    editorial@hamhigh.co.uk
    06 April 2007
Arsenal legend Malcolm Macdonald has urged Gunners fans to show patience and trust in Arsene Wenger's methods, because he confidently predicts the boss has very nearly built another title-winning side - writes Jem Maidment.

"Mark my words, Arsenal will win the Premiership within the next two seasons," said the ex-Gunner. He was speaking exclusively to Wood&Vale Sport ahead of Arsenal's Premiership trip to St James' Park on Monday where they take on another of his former sides, Newcastle United.

Macdonald - dubbed Supermac - was a goalscoring hero on Tyneside and north London and both clubs could use his talents after disappointing seasons at either end of the Premiership.

"If Newcastle had the season Arsenal have had, they'd be regarded as heroes," he smiles, reflecting the differing expectations of the two sets of supporters.

"But for Arsenal it has been ultimately a poor season - and that is what you get when you play with kids."

Not, he quickly adds, that he is criticising Wenger's management skills. It's merely a by-product of the work-in-progress that is the current Arsenal team.

"For the past four months I have been saying this side will win the title very soon. What has happened in the past six weeks has not changed my mind at all.

"Wenger is building an absolutely fabulous side. They will learn from games like last week's defeat at Liverpool.

"There has been criticism from some people who should know better, but all I ask of the fans is that they sit back and take a look at the bigger picture because the future is very rosy."

the problem is pure and simple....lack of goal scoring. This has never been a preoblem before, however at the moment we have noone able to save a game witha goal. defence is excellent but tore and gallas are tempted into pushing forward inorder to get goals leaving us exposed at the back. we need a goal scorer, maybe starting baptista ahead of hleb as ive seen him shoot and lets just say its dodgy to say the least.Stick out tongue

well malcolm can *** off cuz firstly i  dont see us winning anything at all firstly some of the players ARENT up to PAR in the arsenal team........

when we let sidwell go do you think he was better than flamini, these kind of bad sells can cause us to *** our season.

Flamini,Ali,Baptista (BETTER *** OFF), all these players BETTER dont play next season if we wanna win anythings better yet find a replacement.

Who the hell scores in midfield other than gilberto whos a defending mid........really painful to see nobody wanna be a hero.

    Re: Newcastle vs Arsenal

at this stage of the season when we are struggling to score goals, i would readily accept an away point!!!

now we have bolton and i am sure we cannot get as worse as we did against west ham,can we?!? missed chances and luck did'nt favour us.. this time i am sure we'll play hard to win 3 points at the emirates!!!!!

    HAIL ARSENALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!
