    Another painful loss today!!

....only thing i can say is, i liked Diaby's overall play today..maybe we should adopt the long ball strategy....Long ball's to Johnson was enough to keep us off balance..No one wants to step forward and be the man for us.

Diaby looked decent and there were glimpses of Baptista but we didnt do much. They hit post twice so probably desereved 2 win. Another learning curve for the youngsters.

    Re: Another painful loss today!!

i definitely agree no one wants to step foward and be the man to salvage something for Arsenal. Diaby was very good and Fabregas looks to be regaining his top form. Baptista and Aliadiere dont really look that effective in the EPL like they do in their Cup games. Rosicky didnt play that well as we know he can, but he's just back from an injury. But on the bright side, Adebayor will be back in time for the liverpool game, and Hleb will start too. If Clichy comes back, that will allow Hoyte to play right-back that he's accustomed to...defence will be back to how it used be, and Gilberto will move into his defensive midfielder postition...

I liked how diaby played... but we`re still missing a striker.

.................I think the thing that really irritates Angry me is our cavalier approach when the game begins....Have a sense of urgency!!.....Hell,ManU and Chelsea go for the jugular within seconds of leaving midfield!!...Yes, we have limited resources but that does not mean someone can 't grab the bit and be aggressive off the bat!!

usually the sense of urgency comes in once we concede, indeed we are missing a player who would grab the match by its throat we do not have that kind of players.

Apart from fabregas nobody wishes to step forward and be the man to score.

    Re: Another painful loss today!!

how many times have arsenal let oppositions win games at the end of a match!?!?! the number is too many for this season!!!!

    marlon harewood for west ham

    benni mccarthy for blacburn

    alex for PSV

are just some to name a few..

yday was another last min gasper from andy johnson... is it got to do with concentration (lack of it!!) at the end of most matches!?!?

we would have been happy with a point from goodison park and we failed to stay at the 3rd position after liverpool drew their game..

it's hard to digest these kind of losses..though i want this season to end soon, i hope we learn from our mistakes and come out better next year..

yes diaby was great in the match..baptista and alliadiere just don't have the confidence to slot the ball at the back of the net!!

hope adebayor comes in at the so called bussiness end of the season..it is important to finish third..beating liverpool next week would just be great and i strongly believe WE WILL!!!

    Re: Another painful loss today!!

I'm starting to think that there is something wrong with our fitness or endurance. We have seen way too many injuries this season (which results from lack of conditioning and training), and we have the problem of not being able to finish games. It's like our team just gets tired and we lose concentration while the other team kicks it into gear to finish the match strong.

.....I think our fitness is challenged in later stages of games due to our intricate basket-weaving (passing)...By the time we zig-zag Ick!the width of the field and line up with the goal, we're dizzyStick out tongueIck!

---Shouldn't you be winding up Chelsea fans on their sites?.....are you worried your widdle red devils are gonna crack?, be chewed up and spit out by Jose and the boys in the end?....!...The Widdle red devils wouldn't be where they are if they had sustained season ending injuries to Wooney,CR and Saha....consider yourselves lucky widdle red devils this season.
