    Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal

The worse performance I've seen for a longtime as a gooner... And our line-up was the strongest we have at the moment. It seems that the players are still feeling sorry for themselves after going out on all the cups.

Our vice captain Gilberto has to inspire them until the end of the season, and Adebayor with Julio has to score and not miss chances.

Ade hit the woodwork twice, but we don't have any desire to win games. Liverpool outplayed us the whole 90 minutes although we got more corners. We got to get hold of our opponents and not let them score that  easily. We sitll have big games like vs spurs and chelski and we have to perform much and much better than today.

But we have the luxury of a game in hand and we have to make the most of it. We certainly are missing something in our game in these last two games. Whether it's Robin or King 14, we have to overcome that and win the rest of our games.

And yes, this is not our season. I wish it was still early February...

Tell me about Crouch's performance..was it a lack of proper marking or was he served perfect passes?..

I stopped watching at 3-0 Sad think the players are still disapointed about the cups and nothing really to play for, i think they just want the season to end now.

I still think we will get fourth and the game in hand could be important.

    who hates Hleb..

is it just me or is he ALWAYS a piece of crap that always loses the ball and does nothing.

Liverpool dominated man utd the same way, they were just unlucky not to score. I just happend that crouch was lethal in this game, lanky ***.

    Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal

we all are waiting for this season to end, aren't we!?!?!? CHANCES, INJURIES, LACK OF CONCENTRATION & LUCK (NOT IN ORDER) have been reasons for our downfall..

arsenal is such a big club that i am sure that all invovled with it (including we the fans!) know what needs to be done for a brighter next season..

it is easy to be swept away by emotions but it's time for introspection.. the bane has been the four adjectives i have used in the first line..

at the end of 90 minutes yday i switched off the telly and got on with my daily chores.. i had no frustation or dissappointment to cope with (now please don't get your knives out stating that i am not a true arsenal fan!!)

i love arsenal as much as you'll do and will do so till eternity.. i'd stated earlier that i would be glad if we'd come away with a point from anfield..1-4 is a massive let down (but the injury time loss against everton hurted more!)

let us not forget that this is our first loss against a top three team this season in the league..the double against manU, draw with chelsea and yes thrashing of reds 3-1 at emirates..

any other team would have struggled against this liverpool side(please keep those knives in!!)..they've grown in stature and have had the best defensive record at anfield..their strikers are in form and they certainly look potential champions league winners..rafae is a shrewd tactician, ask rjikaard..

look at baptista's chance yday..he had only reina to beat from 18 yards but he shoots wide..adebayor did'nt have lady luck smiling on him..hitting the post twice was the final nail on the coffin..

this result is not the end of the world..we have big matches coming up against newcastle, spurs and chelsea.. all that we want is a fight..to put in good performances and show that we have mental strength and character.. we have a game in hand.. our motive should be to finish third at all costs!!!

cheer up gunners..we can and we will!!!!!!

HAIL ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when the going gets tough, the tought get going.....

    Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal

all clubs go through this stage, but lets just finish this season 3rd or 4th at least we get ECC place either way, henry says he will stay for life with arsenal and that hes gonna go out all guns blazing next season so lets hope he leads the team to a trophy next season but as wenger said winning trophys dnt always show an achievement, he has the ability to bring a football team from nothing to the greatest without using milions and millions like chelski so thats an achievement in itself, probably the biggest out of all achievements, anyways we will win something next season,

we are behind u every step of the way wenger and henry, both of u lead our team to victory :)

and hleb has not long come back from injury, give the lad a chance, he doesnt lose the ball, infact when hes on form his footwork is amazing, hes certainly growing with arsenal, i think he is also losing the ball through lack of confidence, but next season it will all be behind them

Doing daily chores after watching football with frustration and disapointment sounds familiar...not a good Premiership weekend. Can't wait till August!

    Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal

i think we are all lookin forward to next season and rightly so i think all the people we brought in in the summer that look off the pace atm will hit great form next season because they weil be lookin forward to it aswell remember reyes at the start of a new season after he had a brief taste of the premiership he was on fire for a good 8 games and i think the same will happen for rosicky who needs to find the net like the legendary pires did

lets just stick together and weather the storm  like true gunners

the future is very very bright Big Smile

    Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal

I dont think you can call Hleb bad. He isnt the type of player who scores hes more of a player who likes to dribble with the ball and just pass it to someone. I think hes had a decent season and last year he did good aswell. If he could get a few more goals then yeah he would be brilliant but thats not his game.

5 point gap with game in hand (home against man city) so no point being disapointed. Just remember that this time last year we was 7th lol.

As long as we can beat Spurs and Chelsea then ill be happy Smile oh and Bolton Stick out tongue

    Don't hold your breathe.

It wouldn't surprise me if we don't win another game this season.

    We've got Cesc Fabregas!

    Re: Liverpool vs Arsenal

losing two back to back games against everton and liverpool does not mean we are at the end of the barrel..we ceratinly have the will and strength to overcome this crisis..i am sure we will win MAJORITY of the games by the end of the season..let us be as positive..cheer up all you gunners!!!

    HAIL ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
